Since May 2006 Andreas Weber has been a Senior Financial Engineer and Partner at MathFinance AG responsible for developing and implementing pricing tools for financial derivatives.

Previously he worked in the Financial Engineering team of Commerzbank AG. In his last position he was responsible for Foreign Exchange options. This included the modeling, development and implementation of valuation and hedging tools for the FX Options desk, both OTC and listed products, the continuous maintenance and extension of the trading platform with exotic options as well as the coordination of the bank-wide valuation platform with the IT group. He was the senior in-house consultant for traders, structurers and sales providing solutions in the area of FX exotics.

Studies in Theology, Mathematics and Physics, completed with the Diplom in Mathematics majoring in probability theory at Goethe University, Frankfurt

Seit Mai 2006 ist Andreas Weber als Senior Financial Engineer, Prokurist und Partner bei der MathFinance AG zuständig für die Entwicklung und Implementierung von Bewertungsverfahren für Finanzderivate.

Davor war er sechs Jahre als Quant bei der Commerzbank AG, zuletzt als Senior verantwortlich für den Bereich Devisenoptionen. Dies umfasste die Modellierung, Entwicklung und Implementierung von Berechnungsverfahren für Devisenoptionen und -zertifikate, die Erweiterung des Handelssystems mit exotischen Optionen sowie die Koordinierung der Entwicklung von hausinternen Bewertungssystemen mit der IT Abteilung. Er war Ansprechpartner für Händler, Strukturierer und Sales bezüglich exotischer Devisenoptionen.

Akademische Ausbildung:
